Instructor Bios

Alex De Los Santos

Alex De Los Santos brings an extensive baseball background to RBI and the Warriors AAU program.  Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Worcester, Alex was a stellar shortstop and centerfielder at Burncoat High School.  In his senior year at Burncoat, Alex was named a Worcester Telegram and Gazette All-Star.  He played for East Side Post #201 American Legion from 1998 to 2001 and was named East Side's MVP in 2001 for his outstanding hitting and defense.

 

De Los Santos then went on to star for Quinsigamond CC in 2001-02.  In 2002, he played in the Junior College World Series and was an All New England and All American selection.  In 2003, he played Winter Baseball in The Dominican Republic and in 2005 played for the Cam-Am League Champion Worcester Tornadoes in their inaugural season.

 

Alex started his coaching career in 2006 with the AAU Leominster Long Horns.  In 2007, he coached the Home Plate Chilli Dogz in Peachtree City, GA which went to the Carl Ripken, Jr. Tournament.  Alex is currently head coach of the 9U Warriors baseball team.
